My name is Melissa Hall. I've been married to my husband for 20 years and we have 3 kids and 1 angel baby. I homeschool, love to cook, and really enjoy helping people with freezer meal tips, which is also very helpful to new moms during their postpartum recovery.
The birth of my own children led me on the path of being a birth doula. I know that information and education can make a difference in feeling like either the birth is happening to you or that you are being an active participant in making the decisions that are right for you. I also understand that the memories of the birth of a child will stay with a woman the rest of her life. My hope is to help encourage and support you and your family through the pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum journey so that the memory of your birth is one of joy, satisfaction, and empowerment.
Birth is a natural function of life and a woman's body is powerful and capable of achieving the necessary progression needed to birth her baby. Birth is also very unpredictable, and sometimes unforseen emergencies can, and do, arise and a change of course is necessary. My philosophy is that it is my job to support each family in the unique way that meets their individual needs. I will support you in whatever way you choose to birth.
